Headshots - Our Process and How it Works

Every time we do a headshot it’s like making eye contact for the first time it’s all about finding a unique look- and an engaging expression. When in comes to making you an effective headshot, the only style that counts is you and yours - your face and especially your eyes.

Of course, that doesn’t mean clothing and outfits are irrelevant. And there are differences certainly between what makes great corporate headshot and what it takes to make an actor or model look great in a headshot. But generally speaking, we firmly believe what works best when it comes to outfits and headshot is wearing what feels most comfortable. In any case, please bring plenty cloths and accessories.

Our mission is go for different looks and to find and capture the best.

We will review images together before you leave to studio making a preliminary selection. Within a day you will have access to your own password protected online gallery where you can peruse your headshots, think about want and like, and then choose the one or two you want to use.

Each print-ready master headshot digital file we provide comes with a matching web/social media-ready file suitable for immediate posting. We’ll include your name on your headshot if you like or leave it off if that’s your preference.

You can order quality prints directly from us if you like or take your files to someone else for reproduction, because they are your for your unlimited use (other than resale, which requires a separate agreement).

Headshots - Details and Pricing:

Scheduling:
We are available seven days a week. Our preference is schedule headshots five business days in advance, if possible. However, we will respond to any request and do our best to make it work.

What to wear:
Our suggestion is that you bring lots of cloths and accessories¾many different outfits. Concentrate on what you like and above all, the things you feel good in and are comfortable wearing. We’ll look over everything together and decide what we’ll work with. No worries, there will be plenty of opportunities for changes. We’ve got a private dressing room, and illuminated tabletop mirror, and a full-length mirror.

Styling and makeup:
For women, we highly recommend you engage a makeup artist / stylist. Bring your own or we can recommend one. You will be responsible for and pay their fees directly to them.

No matter what, be sure to bring your own brushes and kit, the items and brands you like and use regularly. It’s good policy to have them with you.

For men, makeup is optional - but it certainly never hurts and will likely improve results you choose to have it.

Price List

Corporate or Social Media Headshot

The cost of our standard in-studio corporate headshot session is $295, including:

One (1) hour of photography inclusive of wardrobe changes and on-site review and first cut selection of images
Up to (2) wardrobe changes
Shots to pick from 25-35
One (1) print-ready master image files together with one (1) matching web/social media-ready copies suitable for immediate posting.
Remaining proofs in color corrected JPEG files (not retouch or otherwise mastered)
Upon request we will produce additional master files priced at $50 per image.
Print cost are separate.

Actor and Model Headshot

The cost for our standard actor or model headshot session is $495, including:

Two (2-3) hours of photography inclusive of wardrobe changes and on-site review and first cut selection of images
Up to two (4) wardrobe changes
Shots to pick from 100-200
Two (3) print-ready master image files together with two (3) matching web/social media-ready copies suitable for immediate posting.
Remaining proofs in color corrected JPEG files (not retouch or otherwise mastered)
Upon request we will produce additional master files priced at $50 per image.
Print cost are separate

Discounts are available for groups where it is possible to schedule contiguous sittings of at least two (2).

Make-up Artist Fee: $100

Makeup artist fees are additional and are paid directly to the makeup artist.
